A wrestler’s age on the date of the qualifying tournament will determine his/her age group for that particular tournament. If a wrestler is 12 years old now and turns 13 before the Border Wars National Championships and qualifies in the 11&12 age group, then that wrestler will have to participate in the Border Wars Championships at the 13&14 age group. This is the same for all age groups!
Modified High School Rules:
Age Groups – 5&6, 7&8, 9&10: three 1 min. periods
Age Groups –11&12,13&14,15-18,Open:three 1½ min. periods
